Consider replacing your window units that do not form condensation in the summer. If you have single-pane windows, swap them out for double glazing. Energy-efficient windows are equipped with low-emissivity (low-E) coatings that allow heat to remain outside during summer and inside during winter. Since this feature minimizes heat transfer, it permits the exterior surfaces of windows to cool down below outdoor temperatures. Additionally, energy-efficient windows have glass panes filled with inert gas that provides better insulation and reduces convection between the panes.
